Abstract This study is concerned about the relation between implant different thread geometrical properties specially thread pitch and implant micromovement. 6 different implant models with 6 different thread pitches were created while maintaining all other design features as thread cross-sectional design (Buttress) & thread depth (0.35mm) and implant length (10mm) & diameter (4.2mm), varying only in the thread pitch (0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 1, 1.2 mm) using Solidworks software and used in 2 bone qualities (D1&D4). Also, a crown model was created to complete the structure of the model to be analyzedA 200 N load was applied perpendicular on the created models distributed as 80 N for the posterior molar, 80 N for the crown placed on the implant and 40 N for the anterior premolar and then Ansys software was used to obtain results |
