Abstract Fungal contamination in food or animal feed is an urgent problem. The presence of fungi has a negative impact on animal and human health and the nutritional quality of feed. In this study, 43 fungal strains belonging to 19 genera were isolated from various types of animal feed stuff which collected from different geographical regions in Nile Delta governorates of Egypt. Furthermore, the diversity of the mycobiome population in the different Egyptian feedstuffs was of interest in this study. Mycoflora in feeds were isolated on PAD and MEA media at 25 ℃ and 30 ℃ incubation temperatures. Chemical analysis of the feed samples was carried out for proteins content, soluble and insoluble carbohydrates, crude fibers, crude fats and ash content as well as moisture. The traditional screening methods of mycotoxins production were performed using UV light and ammonium hydroxide vapor, HPLC Technique and multiplex PCR.
