: The study aimed to analyze how the Egyptian and foreign productions of feature films and documentaries addressed celebrities’ biographies in the period from January 2000 to December 2019,in addition to studying the relationship between the addressing of celebrities biographies and the attitudes of viewers towards their real personalities.
This study belongs to the field of descriptive researchand relied on Cultivation theory as atheoretical framework to explain the effects of watching celebrities’ biographical films on forming or changing the attitudes of its viewers towards them.The framework for this study is a quantitative and qualitative content analysis of a sample of 37 feature films and documentaries of Egyptian, American and British productions,and a field study on a sample of 250 interviewees of films viewers in Egypt.The quantitative and qualitative analytical study concluded a number of results, the most important of which
