المستخلص

The study targeted the Egyptian-Sudanese relations since 1989, as that period witnessed internal and external transformations and changes for the two countries. For each other, and that their national security is one, and any harm or challenges affecting one of them is a danger to the other, so there is a great need for comprehensive cooperation and integration between the two countries.
Sudan is one of the most African countries and Arab countries that are full of wealth and capabilities that make it qualified to be the food basket of the world in the case of developing and investing its wealth. Heavy rains - Nile waters) and with regard to another field, which is the field of mining, preliminary studies indicated the presence of an abundance of minerals in Sudan, which contributes to advancing the wheel of industry in it, as well as huge wealth in oil that made it the focus of attention and attraction by the great countries for the purpose of benefiting from its enormous wealth in any way.
Since the independence of Sudan, the Egyptian-Sudanese relations have gone through many changes and transformations. They have even been called the tidal relations. The Egyptian-Sudanese relations were between cooperation, rise and prosperity at times, and deterioration, rivalry and regression at other times, but even in the best times of cooperation and prosperity between the two countries did not reach the appropriate level of ambition to implement common interests This is due to several internal and external conditions.
The Egyptian policy towards Sudan before 2014 lacked a scientific methodology in management, but there was a state of lack of interest and lack of preparation for alternative policies and procedures to apply them when needed. The Egyptian policy towards Sudan was completely disproportionate to the supposed weight of Egypt and the importance of Sudan to Egypt as a strategic dimension The relations between the two countries were not substandard due to the intransigence of the leadership of the two countries in most of the time, which led to a state of apathy and lack of concern.
The conflicts and crises that Sudan is going through will inevitably affect the Egyptian side, its stability and security. With Sudan to solve its internal problems and its problems with neighboring countries, including the state of South Sudan, to demarcate the borders and the problem of the Abyei oil region, and to make all efforts to develop joint relations between Egypt and Sudan in all fields to preserve their interests and national security against any threats they face.
The main question of the thesis has been answered, as the internal, regional and international variables have led to the division of Sudan, but they did not control the Egyptian and Sudanese bilateral relations. Whatever changes occurred, the nature of the relations between the two countries has great ties, no matter what happens, they return to their nature.
Thus, the validity of the hypothesis of the message has been verified, which states:
1- There is a direct relationship between the ruling regimes and the relations between the two countries.
2- There is an inverse relationship between the partition paths and the relationships between the two parties
