Abstract The main objective of the present work is to study the behaviour of reinforced high strength concrete columns exposed to fire, and to evaluate the reduction in concrete strength after fire. To achieve these goals, the research will count on experimental and theoretical analysis. Taking into consideration the following parameters 1) concrete characteristic strength. 2) fire dyration. 3) concrete cover .4) cooling manner. An experimental analysis was conducted on eight reinforced concrete specimens with dimensions (200*200*1500) mm (divided into four groups) were exposed to fire then experimentally tested under centric load. In addition, theoretical analysis was conducted for 25 models to study the columns behavior using a three-dimensional non-linear finite element program ANSYS 16.2 |
