Abstract The aim of this dissertation is the publishing and study of a group of demotic documents found through the joint mission of Cairo and Munich Universities in Tuna El-Gebel necropolis. This group is kept in Tuna el-Gebel necropolis and el-Ashmunein magazines. This Dissertation begins with an introduction presenting the Tuna El-Gebel necropolis, its archaeological features and the nature of the demotic texts and documents which resulted from previous discoveries in this necropolis and the milieu in which they were found, second part of this thesis to the study of group of demotic documents dealing with various topics such as: accounts, lists of proper names, oracle questions and funerary stelae. The study ends with a conclusion summarizing the main results of the study. An appendix with demotic proper names, titles and professions as well as a list of divine names, numerals, fractions, dates and a list of the Hieroglyphic, Coptic, Greek and Arabic words is given at the end , in addition to the plates and facsimilae of the studied documents |
