HCC is a global health problem, with the bur»den of disease expected to increase in the com»ing years and liver cirrhosis represents a major risk factor for the development of HCC. Imaging plays a pivotal role in the detection, diagnosis, staging, and management of HCC without the need for biopsy confirmation.
