Abstract This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the incorporation of antibacterial agents to self-adhesive systems on the nano leakage of resin composites to dentin when compared with adhesive system without Chlorhexidine. Twenty freshly extracted human molars were collected, divided into two groups according to the time where group T1 Represent 24 hours, and group T2 represent one month, each group will be divided into two subgroups group A1: Represent adhesive system containing Chlorhexidine, group A2: adhesive system without Chlorhexidine, and then their occlusal surfaces were trimmed to obtain flat dentin surfaces of deep dentin. Each substrate was divided into two equal halves. The tested adhesive systems were applied according to manufacturer’s instructions into each half followed by the application of a 2-mm high resin composite layer |
