Abstract

The present study was conducted during the two successive seasons 2017 and 2018 on six years old Canino apricot trees (Prunus armeniaca L.) budded on ’Balady’ apricot rootstock, planted at 4 x 5 meters apart (210 tree/feddan) grown in a sandy soil under drip irrigation system in a private orchard located at El-Nubaria, EL-Beheira governorate, Egypt. The present investigation aimed to study the foliar application of Kelpak, Brassinolide and boron in relation to vegetative growth, fruit set, drop, yield, leaf elements content and fruit quality of ’Canino’ apricot trees. Forty uniform trees were selected for this study and all of them were subjected to the same cultural practices during both successive seasons. This experiment consisted of ten treatments were applied and arranged in a randomized complete block design with four replicates for each treatment and one tree for each replicate.
