Abstract family is considered the largest family of the magnolia order (Aminimoghadamfarouj, Nematollahi, & Wiart, 2011), including over 2000 species and 120 genera (Couvreur et al., 2011). It is subdivided into 4 subfamilies, Annonoideae, Malmeoideae, Anaxagoreoideae and Ambavioideae, and 15 tribes (Couvreur et al., 2019). Annona L. is one of the most important genus in the family Annonaceae (Rabelo, Quintans, Costa, da Silva Almeida, & Júnior, 2016). This genus is native to the tropical region and is characterized by its edible fruits and medicinal value (Badrie & Schauss, 2010). It is the second largest genus in the Annonaceae family, including about 166 species (Dahiya & Dahiya, 2021). Annona cherimola, Annona muricata, Annona reticulata, Annona squamosa, Annona glauca, Annona montana, Annona scleroderma, Annona glabra, and Annona purpurea are the most common species of this genus. |
