Abstract The antibacterial activity of the synthesized AgNPs was established using the well diffusion method. The results showed that the chemically synthesized AgNPs and the AgNPs biosynthesized from S. vulgare extract exhibited the highest antibacterial activities against all the investigated MDR isolates, especially isolate no. S22 of S. aureas and isolate no. E11 of E. coli, which were the most significantly affected. Therefore, these two isolates were identified biochemically using the VITEK 2 system and molecularly by the 16S rRNA gene sequence. |
