Abstract
In this thesis, simple, fast and sensitive methods of analysis were developed for the determination of some drugs affecting respiratory drugs. These drugs are Roflumilast, Pseudoephedrine HCl, Triprolidine HCl, Ibuprofen, Carbocysteine, Guaifenesine and Oxomemazine HCl. The drugs are analyzed in bulk in presence of impurity, ternary mixtures and in pharmaceutical preparations.These methods were compared with the official and reported methods. The thesis includes the following sections: Section1 : Introduction It includes: 1.A review about drugs affecting respiratory tract, their classification, indications and mechanism of action. 2.Literature review about the official and reported methods for the quantitative determination of drugs under investigation.
