Abstract The current study applies the intertextual tool within the concept of cultural analysis to discover the intersection between current Egyptian feminist discourses in online platforms and the main Western feminist writings or online discourses.This study draws discourse analysis approach to observe the feminist ideology reflected in Egyptian writings. On the other hand, a comparative analysis tool was employed to highlight the differences between ideologies reflected in the three discourses included in the current study, Masreyat, Rassef22, and Noon.Three in-depth interviews were conducted as well with web portals{u2019}owners and editors in chief to observe the role gatekeepers play to release or reframe notions, beliefs, and perceptions.The results showed contradictions, intersections, and diversity in the feminist ideologies of the three web portals{u2019} discourses. Each discourse is affected by a different feminist culture, has its own resistant tools, and its own style of arguing and debating. It also refers to various stages of mediation and gatekeeping cited in the discursive practice process.
