Abstract In recent years, the survival rate of laryngeal carcinoma patients has been demonstrating a decreasing trend from (57.1% to 51.9%) although the survival of patients with other cancers has been prolonged to different extents. Understanding the prognostic factors for patients with laryngeal cancer may reverse the trend toward a decreased rate of survival and greatly help to improve both the treatment strategies and therefore the survival rate of patients. However, the prognostic factors are currently still controversial(Siegel et al., 2016). Cancer occurs because of repeated changes and between which there are various types of association, being influenced by both genetic predisposition and various external factors(Wang et al., 2012) |
