Abstract
This work is concerned with the quantitative determination of some drugs containing amine group, namely, DL-methionine, paracetamol, propyphenazone, caffeine and ivabradie hydrochloride in their pureform, laboratory prepared mixtures and available pharmaceutical dosage forms in presence of co-formulated excipients which are commonly used. In this study, different analytical techniques were adopted, which include spectrophotometric, chemometric, chromatographic and electrochemical methods for the determination of the aforementioned compounds in their combined dosage forms.Different experimental conditions were studied for optimization of the suggested methods. Since impurities may be harmful or toxic substances, methods of determination of drugs in presence of their impurities were developed for selective determination of a drugs
