Abstract
Design changes in construction projects deviate the project from its objectives. Many research efforts discussed management of design changes, yet less efforts addressed them in healthcare construction projects that require meeting both engineering and medical specifications.This research, presents a new system dynamics model that simulates the environment of healthcare construction projects delivered using design-bid-build (DBB) strategy, it identifies the potential engineering and medical triggers of design changes and their impact on the project{u2019}s completion time and cost.Thus, realistic plan can be achieved
