Abstract

The soil salinity is a widespread problem in cultivated lands especially in the countries with arid and semi-arid climate conditions. Consequently, the soil salinity was chosen to be studied in details in some villages of Bangar El-Sokar in Borg El-Arab area, Alexandria, Egypt. The spatial distribution of the soil salinity in the study area, causes and impact are discussed.
