المستخلص The study aimed to find out the effect of social media on the academic achievement of tenth grade students in the Sultanate of Oman, to identify the rates of student exposure - the study placement to social networks, to uncover the motives of the respondents’ use of social networks in the educational academic process, and to know the degree of confidence of the respondents as students of social networks. As a source of information on the educational process, monitoring the factors affecting the respondents ’academic achievement, and knowing the level of social media assistance in improving academic achievement during the spread of the Coronavirus, monitoring the cognitive, behavioral and emotional effects resulting from students’ use of social networks in the educational process, This study is considered one of the descriptive studies, and this study relied on the electronic social curriculum, both descriptive and analytical, and the current study employs the electronic social approach to monitor, analyze and interpret the tenth grade students’ uses of social networks and their impact on their academic achievement, relying on the questionnaire to collect data.
