Abstract

This study was conducted during the seasons of 2019 and 2020 on adult Alphonse and Zebda mango trees grown in a private farm at El-khatatba district, Menofiea Governorate. The trees were 10 years old at the beginning of the experiment and planted at 7X7 (86 trees / fed) under drip irrigation system, healthy, similar in growth and free from various injuries. All horticultural practices such as irrigation, fertilization, pest and diseases controls were applied. The effect of NAA, GA3 ,Cofret and perfecto-one (Systemic copper complexes) on vegetative growth chemical components of levels and shoots , physical and chemical of panicles , yields attributes and fruits chemical component were evaluated .
Data showed that ,the highest shoot length of Alphonse trees in both seasons were recorded by the treatment of 200 ppm NAA followed by NAA 100 ppm. Average shoot length of Zebda mango trees greatly increased with all applied treatments than control in both studied seasons. However, the highest values of Alphonse shoot thickness were obtained with GA3 50 and cofret 100 ppm and in Zebda the higher significant values were recorded by GA3 at 50, 100 ppm and NAA 200 ppm. Average number of leaves/shoot in Alphonse trees were obtained with GA3 50 ppm and coffret 100 ppm and in Zebda were obtained with GA3 at 50 and 100 ppm .High values of leaf area in Alphonse and Zebda mangos were recorded by GA3 at 50 ppm and coffret at 100 ppm. The highest of Alphonse leaf total chlorophyll values were obtained with NAA at 200 ppm and perfecto-one at 100 ppm however, Zebda mango trees exhibited the higher values with most treatments except cofret and perfecto-one both at 50 ppm .The highest values of Alphonse shoot total carbohydrates were recoded by NAA 200 ppm and perfecto-one 100 ppm. Moreover, the highest values of Zebda were obtained with perfecto-one 50 ppm and NAA 200 ppm .Leaf nitrogen ,P content and C/N ratio values of Alphonse and Zebda mangos greatly increased with all applied treatments than control in both studied seasons. In first season, the highest values were detected by NAA 200 ppm, GA3 50 ppm, perfecto-one 50 and 100 ppm
The highest leaf K content in Alphonse mango trees were obtained with GA3 50 and 100 ppm. Whereas the highest leaf K content in Zebda mangos were obtained with GA3 at 50 and 100 ppm and perfecto – one at 50 ppm .The highest leaf – Ca content in Alphonse monges were obtained with NAA 200 ppm and cofret 100 ppm, whereas Zebda were obtained with NAA 100 and 200 ppm and perfecto-one 50 ppm . Alphonse mango trees recoded the highest Mg leaf contents by NAA 100 and 200 ppm and GA3 50 ppm .Zebda mangos exhibited higher values of leaf Mg contents with NAA 100 and 200 ppm and peffecto-one 50 ppm Highest values of leaf-Fe , Zn , Mn contents in both Alphonse and Zebda mangos trees were recorded by perfecto-one 100 ppm and NAA 200 ppm treatments, whereas thighest values of leaf-Cu contents with perfecto-one 100 ppm., coffret 50 ppm and perfecto-one 50 ppm
Alphonse mangos exhibited the highest values of number of total panicles/tree with NAA 200 ppm and perfecto-one 50 ppm and in Zebda mangos NAA 200 ppm and cofret 100 ppm . Number of Alphonse malformed panicles greatly decreased with NAA 100 and 200 ppm , whereas in mango Zebda The treatments of NAA 100 or 200 ppm and perfecto-one 100 ppm were effective in minimizing the number of malformed panicles. Malformed panicles% exhibited similar trend to those obtained in the number of malformed panicles in the two mango cvs. The highest values of total indoles were recorded by NAA 200 ppm and perfecto-one 100 ppm in both seasons. The highest values of total phenols were recorded with the treatment of NAA 200 ppm, coffret 100 ppm and perfecto-one 50 and 100 ppm in Alphonse mangos. Additionally, in Zebda mangos the highest values of total phenols were also obtained with the treatment of perfecto-one 100 ppm and NAA 200 ppm in second season. PPO activity values of Alphonse and Zebda mangos showed that the highest values were recorded with perfecto-one 50 and 100 ppm and with NAA 200 ppm, cofret 100 ppm .Alphonse mangos recorded an evident increase in final fruit set% , number of fruits/trees and total yield (kg/tree).with some treatments than control. However, Zebda mangos final fruit set% were improved with all applied treatments than control except GA3 100 ppm. Alphonse mangos recorded the highest values of fruit weight in both seasons with GA3 100 ppm, cofret 50 ppm, perfecto-one 50 and 100 ppm. The highest values of TSS% ,least values of total acidity and the highest values of L- ascorbic acid were obtained in both cvs mangos with GA3 at 50 or 100 ppm , NAA 100 ppm and perfecto- one 50 ppm An evident increase in total sugar % in Alphonse and Zebda mangos, with GA3 100 ppm and cofret 100 ppm .
Alphonse mango fruits recorded the higher values of total carotenoides with NAA 100 and 200 ppm , moreover Zebda mangos exhibited the higher values of total carotenoids with GA3 50 and 100 ppm.
