Introduction to the study:
Technology has become a media and communication at the present time is part and parcel of society, affecting directly and indirectly in the trends and tendencies of individuals, and the system of values among societies , and multiple cultural mechanisms of spyware and the media in contemporary society to include the Internet, satellite TV, mobile phone, cultural modernization, and cultural globalization, and attracts the Internet, satellite channels and secondary education students , and receives students through those Allosai for many of the values wa behaviors desirable and undesirable .
There are various cons of contemporary cultural and media reality that may be affected by secondary education students to include cultural alienation and the most important manifestations of cultural penetration, and the spread of international schools in the community, and the fascination with Western culture , and blind imitation of her , and cons of contemporary cultural and media reality also is affected by the students of consumer culture and the most important manifestations of concern for the acquisition of all that is new, such as the purchase of the latest phones and download the latest games and ringtones, and keep up with the latest fashion in clothes, and cons The contemporary cultural and media reality is the moral decline, one of its most important manifestations is Internet addiction , violation of the privacy of others, and the spread of violence, bullying and pornography in society .
Preventive education aims to direct the behavior of secondary education students, develop their awareness of knowledge, values, trends, skills, creative and critical thinking , and the necessary preventive measures that give students a culture of discrimination and choice among cultural elements and media materials.
Some educational institutions, such as the family, the school, the media, places of worship and clubs, can place the preventive educational role of secondary education students among the priorities of their concerns, by sensing the dangers and threats that may affect students, developing students’ awareness of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality, immunizing them from intellectual and behavioral deviations, and developing awareness and moral insight.
The current study aims to establish preventive education as a social culture that contributes to building the students’ personality, avoiding abnormal behaviors that violate human instinct and good morals, and presenting a proposed strategy for preventive education for secondary education students to confront some of the negatives of contemporary cultural and media reality.
Study problem:
Seeking preventive education , to develop a sense of protective of the student when dealing with the mechanisms of contemporary cultural and media reality, and to ensure the benefit of the advantages of those mechanisms and avoid disadvantages, including preventive education combined efforts of all educational institutions to avoid realized the dangers that may threaten the cultural and moral of this community heritage; By undermining his human energies in the future, represented by students in secondary education; So a becomes the responsibility of specialists in educational areas to address those dangers posed by contemporary cultural and media reality, planning education and preventive protect students from those negatives pursuant to rule health ” prevention is better than cure ”.
And then the problem of the study is determined in an attempt to identify the most important practical aspects and the mechanisms necessary to establish a culture of preventive education for students of secondary education in the family, school, media, houses of worship and clubs, and to identify some of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality, and to develop a proposed strategy for preventive education for secondary education students to confront. Study questions:
The study attempted to answer the following questions:
1- What are the social characteristics of secondary education students , and their educational needs.
2- What are the mechanisms of culture and media in contemporary society , their pros and cons, and their impact on secondary education students.
3- What is meant by preventive education for secondary education students , its objectives and importance for students , its fields, educational media, and its expected roles towards students.
4- What is the reality of the preventive roles of some educational institutions, in order to spare secondary education students some of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality.
5- What is the proposed strategy for preventive education for secondary education students to confront some of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality.
Objectives of the study:
The current study aimed to:
• Identify the social characteristics of secondary education students, and their educational needs.
• To identify some of the pros and cons of culture and media in contemporary society, and their effects on secondary education students.
• Identifying the objectives and importance of preventive education for secondary education students, and its educational fields and media.
• Identifying the expected preventive roles of the family, school, media, places of worship and clubs towards secondary education student
• Understand the reality of the protective roles of the family, the school, the media, places of worship and clubs; To spare students some of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality.
• Rooting preventive education as a social culture that contributes to the protection and immunization of secondary education students towards some of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality.
• Develop a proposed strategy for rooting preventive education for secondary education students to confront some of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality.
importance of the study:
The importance of the current study is due to:
1. This study may be useful in clarifying some of the concepts, objectives, areas and foundations of preventive education for secondary education students, and the rooting of preventive education as a necessary social culture for some students, Educational institutions and those interested in educational affairs.
2. This study can burden some of the students’ skills, and give them some social and cultural values and standards that enable them to select , distinguish and choose from among the cultural elements and media materials .
3. This study can be useful in strengthening the positive aspects of benefiting from the advantages of the contemporary cultural and media reality, and facing some of the negatives resulting from it.
4. This study can enhance the protective educational roles of the family, school, media, houses of worship and clubs, towards secondary education students .
5. This study may be useful in examining the reality of the protective roles of the family, the school, the media, houses of worship and clubs, towards sparing secondary education students some of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality.
6. This study may support the institutions of society in their endeavors to confront the threats that try to undermine the human energies of society, and its civilizational , cultural and value heritage.

Methodology of the study:
The current study is based on the descriptive approach. Given its relevance to the nature and objectives of the study, the descriptive studies aim to determine the characteristics of the problem and study the circumstances surrounding it, that is, reveal the current facts while recording their significance and characteristics, classifying them and revealing their connection with other variables, in order to describe the phenomenon in a comprehensive and accurate manner in all its aspects and to draw attention to its various dimensions, in addition to The descriptive studies do not stop at the mere collection of data and facts, but rather tend to classify these facts and those data, analyze and interpret them in the manner that is dictated quantitatively and qualitatively with the aim of reaching final results that can be generalized, and it is the approach that is commonly used in studies that describe the current status of the phenomenon and its interpretation. It depends on the study of existing relationships, prevailing practices, trends and beliefs that are related to humans and existing attitudes .
The limits of the study:
The current study was limited to the study of preventive education For secondary education students, their goals and importance for students, and educational institutions concerned with preventive education for secondary education students and their hopeful roles towards students, and revealing some negatives of the contemporary cultural and media reality and their impact on students, through extrapolation of research, studies and references closely related to the subject of the study .
The field application was also limited to a sample of general and technical secondary education students in some centers of Sohag governorate, which are ( Sohag Center, Al- Mansha Center, Akhmim Center , Saqlata Center, Maragha Center , Juhayna Center, Tahta Center ), where this center was chosen to be representative of the geographical distribution of the governorate. It has been applied to the method ie of the students during the first semester of the academic year 2020 / 2021.
Tool of the Study:
The study tool was the questionnaire prepared by the researcher to reveal the reality of the protective educational roles of the family, the school, the media, houses of worship and clubs; To spare secondary education students some of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality, the questionnaire was applied to a sample of general and technical secondary education students in some centers of Sohag governorate.
Steps to study:
The study was divided into two parts:
First: the theoretical part:
Which included the first chapter ( the general framework of the study ) , through which the study was defined through the introduction , the study problem, its questions, its objectives, its importance , its limits, the method used in it, and how to employ it in the study, in addition to the field study tools, and the definition of the most important terms in the study, and offer some of the previous studies of closely related to the subject of study and employment and benefit from the results .
This part also included the theoretical framework of the study, which included several theoretical chapters, namely :
- The second chapter : which tried to answer the first question, by identifying the social characteristics of secondary education students, their educational needs, and some social problems that they may face.
- The third chapter : which attempted to answer the second question, by addressing the mechanisms of culture and media in contemporary society, and their positive and negative impact on secondary education students.
- The fourth chapter : which tried to answer the third question, by dealing with preventive education for secondary education students , its objectives and importance for students , its fields, educational media and its hoped roles towards students.
Second: The field part :
- Chapter Five : which tried to answer the fourth question , by presenting the procedures of the field study, which included the study tools represented in the questionnaire that the researcher designed and applied to a sample of students of general and technical secondary education in Sohag Governorate , and the results of the field study that were reached. and interpretation of those results .
- Chapter Six : In light of the results of the analytical and field study, the researcher answered the fifth question , by presenting a proposed strategy for preventive education for secondary education students to confront some of the negative aspects of the contemporary cultural and media reality.
Field study results:
The most important findings of the current study are the following:
1- The family develops the students’ culture of society, and encourages them to assume social responsibility.
2- The school contributes to the transfer of the cultural heritage to students, and provides them with various knowledge, skills and sciences.
3- Promote media media among students aspects of communication and social, and to take advantage of the technology and network the Internet.
4- Contribute to the role of worship in the development of morals , religious and emotional among students.
5- Clubs contribute to discovering the talents and tendencies of students .
6- The weak role played by the family towards urging students not to imitate Western culture in some of its values.
7- The weakness of the role that you are doing the school towards the consolidation of trends and values of social among students, and encourage. them to participate actively in the activities of the community.
8- The weak role played by the media towards transferring social experiences to students, and providing them with decision-making skills.
9- The weakness of the role that play its role of worship towards education , educate and refine students.
10- The weakness of the role that you are doing the clubs towards the development values positive among students.
