Abstract This work aimed to synthesis series of organic compounds of imidazolidine moiety and study the applications of these compounds either biological applications or coordination application . So, we started the work of these series by using dihydroacetophenone thiosemicarbazone derivatives to get imidazolidine derivatives and all the structures were emphasized by use of different spectroscopic techniques, IR and 1H, 13C-NMR, along with elemental analysis. And all these compound were tested against cancers cell lines to get important results about their biological activities.Coordination application was studied by synthesis aminothiohydantoin Schiff base complexes. The two series of complexes have been succefully synthesized. The coordination modes, stoichiometry, geometery, thermal stability, and morphology of complexes were deduced based upon the outputs of different physicochemical, spectroscopic, and microscopic techniques. Also biological activities of these complexes have been studied. |
