Abstract This study was carried out during 2017 and 2018 seasons on twenty four uniform in vigour Zebda mango trees onto Succary mango rootstock. The trees are grown in a private mango orchard situated at Al Biarh area, Kom Ombo district, Aswan Governorate. The trees are planted at 5x5 meters apart. Soil texture is silty clay . The soil is well drained and water table depth not less than two meters deep. The selected trees are irrigated with Nile water through surface irrigation the common agricultural and horticultural practice were carried out as usual. The merit of this study was examining the effect of single and combined applications of boron, magnesium and amino acid on vegetative growth characters, trees nutritional status, yield and fruit quality of Zebda mango trees grown under Aswan region conditions. This experiment included the following eight treatments for spraying amino acids , magnesium sulphate and boric acid. CONCLUSION Treating Zebda mango trees grown under Aswan environmental conditions three times (growth start, just after fruit setting and at one month later) with a mixture of boric acid at 0.05% (0.5 g/ L), magnesium sulphate 0.5 % ( 5 g/ L) and amino acids at 0.1% ( 1g /L) succeeded in improving yield and fruit quality. |
