Abstract Hypotension during regional anesthesia for CS still remain a significant problem not only for the patient, but also for the Fetus and the anesthesiologist as well. The etiology of intraoperative hypotension is complex. A number of treatments have been introduced in order to reduce hypotension in CS. However, none of the methods whether used alone or in combination have been considered to be fully effective. In the current study, our aim was to reduce the intraoperative complications to women undergoing CS under SPA and our primary objective was to assess the effect of Ondansetron on the incidence of intraoperative hypotension as well as nausea and vomiting in women undergoing cesarean section under SPA. |
