Abstract Immunization is the process where by a child is made immune or resistant to an infectious disease, by administration of a vaccine. These vaccines help to stimulate the body’s own immune system to protect the children against subsequent disease. Aim of this study to evaluate nursing education program for mothers need to children under-five-year regarding immunization Design: Quasi-experimental research design was used. Sample: purposive sample equal 375 mothers’ who having children with age two month attending the rout~e immunization. Setting: study was conducted at 2 Maternal- Child Health Centers at El Maasara district Helwan City (the south & the east) Tool: Interview questionnaire sheet composed of 2 parts (socio-demographic characteristics & mothers’ needs regarding immunization). Results: the mean age of mothers were 28.5±7.1 years. Mothers’ total good knowledge was 85% at the post education program than pre-program. Also, mothers’ satisfactory reported practice regarding immunization was 75% at the post educational program than pre- program. Conclusion: the study denoted that there was an improvement of mothers’ knowledge and reported practice at post nursing education program than pre nursing education program with statistically significant difference. Recommendations: provide mothers by health education and immunization booklets which include the importance of immunization, side effects and how to manage its, obligatory vaccine schedule and non-obligatory vaccine schedule in MCH centers.
