Abstract 1.5. Research Objectives 1) Access to optimal method for easy control of reluctance motor drives. 2) Recognition of the effectiveness of the proposed program for students of the Faculty of Industrial Education, 4th Division, Department of Electrical Technology. ABSTRACT SRM motors are now more expensive than regular AC motors. This is largely due to the lack of a standard electronic transducer in sRM drives, which will be available in the market as a single unit. An inverter was used to control the speed of the sRM motors. Through theoretical and practical study, it has been reached to use soft switching instead of hard switching, as in the case of hard switching, there is voltage on the terminals of the D&S of the IGBT transistor. It was concluded that by using a soft switching snaber capacitor, the noise in the sine wave on the inverter output was reduced, leading to an increase in the efficiency to 96.1%. A training program was also designed for students of the fourth year majoring in electrical technology at the Faculty of Technology and Education, Helwan University. |
