First: the study problem:
After reviewing the previously used methods and methods used in determining the training needs of dozens of institutions, which I read about some of the attempts of some to develop a scientific concept through which the training needs of its employees can be determined and also through my work in the Public Relations Department of the Egyptian Airports Company, it became clear to me that the adoption of a scientific practice systematically The results of identifying training needs on the other hand will make the results of identifying training needs more accurate and reliable, and their result will be positive during the activation of career paths, the development of the performance of the incumbent and the raising of productive efficiency.
Although the Egyptian national airlines are trying to develop the performance of their public relations workers, these efforts are still limited and less effective compared to foreign airlines, and the interest of Egyptian and Arab researchers is still in studying this important aspect of the modernity of the aviation companies. The reflection of identifying the training needs of public relations practitioners in these companies and making use of them in developing their performance, and this is what prompted the researcher to pay attention to and research this topic In his attempt to present a study based on scientific foundations through which the practitioner of public relations in aviation companies operating in Egypt could develop his professional performance and provide successful communication messages with the masses of these relationships.
Second - Importance of the study:
1- The study shows the role of social planning in assisting decision makers in determining the training needs of public relations workers at airports and upgrading the level of training programs provided to them.
2- The role that airports play as the first and last gateway for visitors from all over the world, which requires raising the professional performance of all airport workers, especially public relations workers, as they are a front.
3- The important role played by public relations in airports, especially in giving the visitor the first impression and image of the country that receives him, especially the major visitors and high-level delegations.
4- The Egyptian Airports Company has resorted to employing some workers with foreign expertise, which affects the Egyptian element that is no less efficient in capabilities than any other worker.
5- Attempt to avoid any deficiencies in the training programs currently offered to employees of public relations at the Egyptian Airports Company.
6- Avoiding the occurrence of any technical or administrative problems that may cause complaints among the beneficiaries of the Public Relations Department of the Egyptian Airports Company, especially if the service provided to it at Egyptian airports is compared with its counterparts abroad.
Third: Study Objectives:
1- Determining the regional frames for the Egyptian public relations for airports.
2- Defining the reality of the training programs that the Egyptian Company for Airports grants to its public relations workers.
3- Define the previous section in Egyptian Public Relations.
4- Determine the trends that define Egyptian public relations and airports.
5- Determining the positions that it can take in facing the obstacles without benefiting from the training programs that are expected to be witnessed by the airports.
6- Bosnia for Concept, Proposal for Sale, Paris, Paris, Paris.
Fourth - Hypotheses of the study.
The first hypothesis: It is expected that the level of training needs for public relations employees at the Egyptian Airports Company will be low. This hypothesis can be tested through the following dimensions:
1-Cognitive needs
2-Skillful needs
3- Value needs.
The second hypothesis: It is expected that the level of training programs for public relations employees at the Egyptian Airports Company will be high. This hypothesis can be tested through the following:
1- Qualifying programs.
2- Educational programs
3- Planning programs.
4- Media programs.
The fourth hypothesis: There is an inverse statistically significant relationship between the training programs provided to employees of public relations at the Egyptian Airports Company and their training needs.
The Fifth hypothesis: There are fundamental differences between the needs of male and female workers in terms of their identification of the training needs of public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company.
Fifth - Concepts of the study
1- Training needs.
.2- Training
3- Public Relations.
4- Professional performance.
Sixth - Methodological Procedures
1- Type of study:
This study belongs to the analytical descriptive studies.
2- Approach used:
The study relied on the scientific method using the comprehensive social survey method, with its two types, comprehensive and sample.
3- Study tools:
The current study relied on a set of research tools as follows.
A- Questionnaire form for public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company.
B- A semi-structured interview with experts.
4- Limits of the study:
A- Spatial boundaries: The spatial boundaries for the study were the headquarters of the Egyptian Company for Airports and Airports affiliated to it at the Republic’s level, which numbered 16 airports.
B- Human borders: The human limits for the study are as follows
A comprehensive field survey for public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company.
A sample of experts working in the fields of social planning and public relations.
Seventh - Results of the study in light of the study hypotheses:
1- The results of the study proved the correctness of the study’s first hypothesis, which is that “the level of training needs for public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company is expected to be low,” as the level of training needs for public relations workers in the Egyptian Airports Company as a whole, as determined by the employees is (1.28), which is a low level.
2- The results of the study confirmed the validity of the second hypothesis of the study, which is that “the level of training programs for public relations employees at the Egyptian Airports Company is expected to be high,” as the level of training programs for public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company as a whole as determined by the employees is (2.69), which is a high level.
3- The results of the study proved that the third hypothesis of the study is incorrect, which is that the level of professional performance development for public relations employees at the Egyptian Airports Company is expected to be high, as the level of professional performance development for public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company as a whole as determined by the employees is (2.25), which is an average level.
4- The results of the study proved the validity of the fourth hypothesis of the study, which is that ”there is a statistically significant inverse relationship between the training programs provided to employees of public relations at the Egyptian Airports Company and their training needs”, as there is an inverse relationship statistically significant at a significant level (0.01) between the training programs provided to public relations employees of the company Egyptian Airports and their training needs. In addition, the training programs provided to public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company as a whole explain (11%) of the changes in the low level of training needs provided to public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company as a whole.
5- The results of the study proved that the fifth hypothesis of the study is incorrect, which is that “there are statistically significant differences between the responses of male and female workers regarding their identification of the training needs of public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company”, as there are no statistically significant differences between the responses of male and female workers with regard to their identification For the training needs of public relations workers at the Egyptian Airports Company (knowledge needs, skill needs, value needs, and training needs as a whole).
