Abstract

This descriptive study was carried on 50 patients with history of lumbosacral radiculoplexopathy. Their ages ranged from 18 – 78 years with a mean age of 41.2 ± 18.4 years. There were 23 males (46 %) and 27 females (54%).
All of them gave oral informed consent to the study. The study was carried out from August 2017 to August 2019.
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the spectrum of diseases that affects the lumbrosacral plexus with their corresponding imaging findings at 1.5-T MR neurography and to correlate these findings with electrophysiological studies.
All subjects were subjected to:
1. Complete clinical assessment.
2. Conventional lumbosacral MRI.
3. Electrophysiological studies:
All subjects underwent a standardized electromyography and nerve conduction studies.
4. Lumbosacral plexus MR neurography:
All subjects underwent lumbosacral plexus MR neurography using 1.5 Tesla MR scanner.
