المستخلص The aim of the current research sought to identify the effectiveness of the four corners strategy in teaching science on achievement and on developing problem solving skills of primary stage pupils, and to achieve this goal, the research to answer the following main question: What is the effectiveness of the four corners strategy in teaching science on achievement and on developing problem solving skills of primary stage pupils?, The research sample consisted of (80) pupils from the fourth grade of primary pupils in Sabkhaouiya primary schools (No. 1, No. 2), and they were divided equally into two groups. The first: An experimental group: includes (40) pupils from the fourth grade of primary pupils in Sabkhaouiya primary school No. (2), and they study the unit (matter) according to the four corners strategy, and the second: A control group: includes (40) pupils from the fourth grade of primary pupils in Sabkhaouiya primary school No. (1), and they study the unit (matter) according to the usual teaching method, the researcher has prepared experimental treatment materials: it includes both the Teachers Guide and the Student activity booklet, and the preparation of research tools, and includes both Achievement test and the Problem solving skills test. The results of the research resulted in the effectiveness of the four corners strategy in teaching science on achievement and on developing problem solving skills of primary stage pupils. In light of these results, the researcher presented some recommendations and suggested research. |
