Abstract

Studies of patients with chronic heart diseases CHD have examined
the value of RT when added to a program of aerobic exercise. These
studies found that RT is well tolerated and is associated with
improvements in quality of life, strength, and endurance, In an
evaluation of the effects of RT alone in a group of older women with
coronary heart disease with at least a moderate degree of mobility
limitation women who underwent RT improved their measured physical
performance on a battery of daily physical activities (Willner, etal 2019).
Prescribed and supervised resistance training (RT) enhances
muscular strength and endurance, functional prescribed and supervised
resistance training (RT) enpacity and independence, and quality of life
while reducing disability in persons with and without cardiovascular
disease CVD these.
