Abstract Background: myopia is highly important problem due to its high prevalence and also could result in visual morbidity and . optical coherence tomography angiography represent a non invasive optical imaging technique with high resolution The aim of the work: to assessment of peripapillary and macular perfusion in normal and myopic eyes by optical coherence tomography angiography . Materials and Methods: Patients and Methods: 80 person were subdivided into 4 groups: control group , mild myopia, moderate myopia and high myopia , 20 person for each from December 2018 to December 2019.all patients do full ophthalmic examination which include; visual acuity assessment ,slit lamp biomicroscopy ,fundus examination, OCTA, axial length . Results: On analysis there is statistically difference in whole image superficial macular vessel density ,foveal ,parafoveal, temporal, nasal ,superior, inferior between the cases within 4group there is statically significant difference in whole , foveal superior, deep macular vessel density with in 4study group , there is statistically significant difference in the inside RPC and superior, nasal between cases in 4 group . Conclusion: Eyes with myopia have decrease macular and peripapillary perfusion in comparison with emmetropic eyes .this vascular finding may raise vulnerability to vascular associated eye disorders. |
