المستخلص This study aimed to identify The effectiveness of reality therapy aprogram in developing psychological resilience and its Effect on social competence of students with visual special needs included in mainstream schools in assiut governorate, continued the effectiveness during the follow-up period, and the extent of difference in psychological resilience and social competence accordind to the (males/females) ,The main sample consisted of 30 student-children with visually special needs who were included into mainstream schools in Assiut Governorate. age range from 108 to 141 months with standard deviation of 5.06. This study used the psychological resilience scale, Social Competence scale and the reality-therapy program. The results of this study showed effectiveness of a program based on reality therapy to improve psychological resilience and Social Competence of visual-special-need students who participated in this study, and continued its positive impact in the level of psychological resilience and Social Competence of the participants in this study. The results were explained in the light of research literature, the theoretical framework, related studies. The researcher provided a number of recommendations.
