Abstract The general objectives of this work was an attempt to provide a rational basis for the artificial drying system, in which forced heated air at constant temperature and relative humidity may be used to remove the excess moisture from wheat (var. gemiza 11). Conclusions: 1-A general comparison between model of Lewis’s, Henderson and Page showed the applicability of models in describing the drying behavior of wheat grain under different combinations of drying air temperature and air relative humidity. 2-Page’s models could be consider the most proper model for describing the drying behavior of thin layer drying of wheat grains. 3-The new obtained mathematical relationships for the constants values of each model under the experimental parameters of this study could be useful in predicting and simulated the drying behavior of a deep bed layer drying of wheat grain. |
