Abstract Elastography as a new diagnostic technique in gynecology seems to be a valuable tool differentiating different endometrial pathologies. In the present study 45 perimenopausal female patients, with age above 45 years having vaginal bleeding were undergoing 2DU/S examinations for all patients for full characterization of endometrium and adnexa,it divided the patients into two group the first group have localized endometrial thickening which may be polyp or submucous fibroid,the second group having diffuse endometrial thickening which may be endometrial hyperplasia or endometrial carcinoma.after that using color Doppler to differentiate between that lesions showing statistically significant relation with biopsy.transvaginal sonoelastography was done for all patients. |
