Abstract Hand and forearm weakness interferes with many common activities of daily living. Difficulty with activities that require dexterity, such as buttoning and using a zipper, are early symptoms. With further decreased hand strength, other activities could be affected. The aim of this work was to evaluate the patient with distal upper limb weakness, either unilateral or bilateral through clinical, neuroimaging and neurophysiological study to reach the proper diagnosis. The studied patients were (81), 53 males and 28 females, suffered from distal weakness of upper limbs either unilateral or bilateral. The studied eligible patients were categorized into 2 groups. |
