Abstract The purpose of the current research was to develop a sample of primary schoolers’ achievement and attitudes towards English using a blended learning program. The participants of the present study were two classes of 58 pupils in sixth grade in Salah El-Dien El-Ayobi Puplic Primary School in Ismailia, divided into two groups. The first group (the experimental group) was made up of 29 pupils who used the blended learning program proposed. The second group (the control group) was made up of 29 pupils who were taught using the regular method inside the classroom. The two group pre- post-test quasi experimental design was administrated to assess the effectiveness of the proposed program. Two measurement tools were developed and validated. They were: an achievement test and an attitudinal questionnaire. The results of the study revealed that the developed blended learning program had a significantly positive effect on developing the primary schoolers’ achievement and attitudes towards English. |
