Abstract The sexual health of adolescents is a growing global public health issue. It is important for adolescent girls to understand her sexuality. Many adolescent girls approach adulthood faced with conflicting and confusing messages about sexuality and gender. This is often exacerbated by embarrassment; silence an id disapproval of open discussion of sexual matters by adults, including parents and 1 teacher, at the very time when it is most needed. Quasi experimental design (pretest – posttest) was used to achieve the aim of the study. The main aim of the present study was to examine the effect of sexual health nursing intervention on knowledge of female adolescent in secondary schools at Shebin Elkoom. |
