Abstract Background: Female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is one of the most common health problem affecting females and there is many risk factors related to this problem. It has bad psychological effect on female life. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of sexual Andrology department of Faculty of Medicine Fayoum University and 2 Primary health care centers PHC in Fayoum city during the period from September 2016 to March 2017. The sample consisted of 508 females. An interview dysfunction and the related factors among reproductive age women in Fayoum Aim of work: The aim of this work was to evaluate FSD and its risk factors in Fayoum city females. Subject and methods: This was a cross sectional study. Representative sample were selected randomly from married females in reproductive age visiting outpatient clinic of Dermatology, STDs and was utilized to full fill questionnaire to collect the necessary data. Results: The prevalence of FSD was 61.2% of married females suffering from FSD versus 38.8% who had normal sexual function in the study. The high prevalent disorder of FSD among married females in this study was orgasm dysfunction 58.5% then satisfaction dysfunction 58.1% followed by pain dysfunction 43.3% then desire dysfunction 42.3% then arousal dysfunction 39.2% finally lubrication dysfunction 25%. There was a statistical significant difference between females and their husbands age, duration of marriage, number of children, residence, occupation, educational level, female genital mutilation and females who their husband had erectile, ejaculation sexual problems and prevalence of FSD Conclusion: The prevalence of FSD was 61.2% among married females in Fayoum, this problem related to many factors (age, educational level, residence, female genital mutilation, using contraceptive, pregnancy, husband sexual problem).
