Abstract There was statistically significant increase in serum phosphorus in pruritic group than in non-pruritic and also there was statistically significant increase in serum bilirubin in pruritic group than in non-pruritic. There was statistically significant positive correlation between serum phosphorus, serum bilirubin and intensity of UP measured by VAS, and severity of UP, distribution of UP, sleep disturbance measured by pruritus scoring system. There was statistically significant positive correlation between VAS and pruritus scoring system scores. |
