Abstract coastal regions of North Delta, Egypt. 2-Screening of marine actinomycetes for antimicrobial activities During primary and secondary screening, thirteen isolates showed antimicrobial activities against some bacteria. Seven isolates exhibited the largest spectrum of inhibitions. 3-Characterization and identification of the most potential isolates 4- Factors affecting the antimicrobial activity of the most active three Streptomyces isolates. 5-Extraction, purification and characterization of the bioactive metabolites of Streptomyces viridiviolaceus EGRB6 by using column chromatography and TLC. Identification of antimicrobial compound was done by using (GC/MS) that detected forty three compounds. Twenty five out of these forty three compounds were previously detected as bioactive materials according to the literature. |
