Abstract This investigation was carried out at the Agricultural Research Station, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University in summer seasons of 2013, 2014 and 2015. The aim of this work was to study the effect of three planting dates, three planting distributions and their interactions on field and quality performance of cotton cultivars Giza 86 (Gossypium barbadense, L.). An experiment of a split plot design with three replications was conducted in the three seasons, the main plot were devoted to three planting dates (D) as follows, (D1) first April, (D2) mid-April and (D3) first May. |
