Abstract The present thesis is classified into three different subjects in the petroleum industry sector, which these parts are Petrophysics, pore pressure and formation damage. The first part in this study is the Petrophysics, The main objective is to find a new petrophysical study technique, which can help in the confirmation of hydrocarbon type because the absence of pressure data in the two mentioned reservoirs; the second objective is to solve the absence of sonic curves in five studied wells by creating a synthetic sonic curve to determine the hydrocarbon type in these studied reservoirs. A new simulation technique was applied to BDR (A8, A9) wells at the level of Baba reservoir and on BDR (B9) well at the level of Sidri reservoir using the correlation and fingerprints of the Well log crossplots responses in the different hydrocarbon types (oil and/or gas) for the confirmed others reservoirs. On the other hand good Well log relations between Density and sonic was observed in some wells which have sonic logs, two empirical equations were derived at the Baba level for more accuracy and based on the distance between the wells and the similarity in the |
