Abstract The present study aims to study the molecular motion and relaxation process of poly (vinyl chloride co- vinyl acetate co- 2-hydroxypropyle acrylate) copolymer doped with ZnO nanocomposite ZnO/PVVH in order to improve its electrical properties for engineering and technological purposes. ZnO nanoparticles were prepared using the simple precipitation method. Also, the prepared nanoparticles of ZnO was used as filler to form ZnO/PVVH nanocomposite films with different concentrations 0.25%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2% using cast technique. Both nanoparticle powders and nanocomposite films were characterized by using FTIR, SEM, XRD, UV-VIS and DSC. , the electrical properties of the macrostructure of the prepared films were studied using thermally stimulated depolarization current technique. Also, the microstructure of the films was studied by using thermal sampling and partial heating techniques. Thermally stimulated depolarization current TSDC technique used to study the alpha relaxation of the samples. Thermal sampling technique TS was used to resolve the complex TSDC behavior and thermodynamic parameters were obtained from Eyring relationship. |
