Abstract

Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is now one of the most successful and viable techniques in assisted fertilization and revolutionized the treatment of male infertility. In those who have no identifiable or correctable cause. ICSI provides new hope for couple with male infertility.Assisted reproduction is expensive, time-consuming and stressful for patients. Any indicator that can predict treatment outcome is important in counseling patients. A good ovarian response, which would result in enough oocytes, is certainly meaningful. However, what we really need is enough viable embryos. So to find the factors affecting or predicting the quality of eggs, rather than quantity, may be more important.
