Abstract Date palm trees (phoenix dactylifera L.) are cultivated and distributed all over Egypt. The date palm trees attacks by several insects and mites pests; causing several damage and economic losses. The aims of the present work were studied; incidence, dominance and population dynamics of mites associated with two varieties (Hayani and Zaghloul) of date palm trees at different localities in Ismailia Governorates. On the other hand; throw lights on mites associated with different stages of Red Palm Weevil Rhynchophorus ferrugineus infested date palm trees. Also evaluated of two bio-insecticides (Tracer 24% SC and Efdalmectin 1.8% EC) on different stages of (RPW.) under laboratory conditions. Results revealed that thirteen species belonged to eight families were collected from two varieties of date palm trees during two successive years (from March 2012 to February 2014). from 4191 and 5791 mites species were extracted in both year of study; Phytophagous mites were (39.6% and 40.4%); Predaceous mites were (56.7% and 55.9%); and Miscellaneous mites were (3.7% and 3.6%) respectively. Surveyed of mites associated with different stages of (RPW.) revealed that eleven mites species belonged to nine families and four suborders. Result of evaluated of two bio-insecticides on different stages of (RPW.) under laboratory conditions revealed that Tracer 24% SC was more effective than Efdalmectin 1.8% EC in all concentrations.
