Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to study some important structure properties of the normal and singular control systems of fractional order. In two cases: When the state and control spaces are finite and infinite dimensional spaces. And give a numerical scheme for the optimal control problem.
The structure properties: the controllability, the domain of null controllability, the set of reachability, the observability and the stability were studied for the two systems in the finite dimensional spaces. And different concepts of controllability and observability were studied for the two systems in infinite dimensional spaces.
Numerical solution of the fractional control systems using Grunwald-Letnikov approximation was given. Also the optimal control problems for the normal and singular fractional control systems were formulated by means of Pontryagin maximum principle and numerically solved by GLA.
