Abstract Tills study was designed to identify the best radiation therapy regimen for those group of patients who have posterior fossa tumors, that group of tumors which is not usually accessible for surgical excision and even biopsy in many patients. The study was carried out in Ain Shams Radiation Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Department & Oncology Department in Ain Shams University Specialized Hospital in the period between December 1998 and December 2000. Sixty (6o) patients were eligible to the study in two treatment groups, A and B. group A received conventional radiotherapy protocol, group B received hyperfractionation radiotherapy protocol, and both groups received adjuvant chemotherapy. |
