Abstract This study was carried out to: 1- Examine morphological features using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) of acid base resistant zone at the adhesive interface of dentin, using 10-MDP based self-etch adhesive, before and after acid base challenge. (Artificial secondary caries formation( 2- Chemical analysis using (Thin film X-ray diffraction) of ABRZ and superdentin before and after acid base challenge. 3- Validate micro-CT scanning and 3D models reconstruction for examining the ultrastructure of the adhesive interface. PICO Problem:Carious posterior tooth. Intervention:Resin composite restoration using 10-MDP containing adhesive subjected to acidic challenge. Comparison: Resin composite restoration using 10-MDP containing adhesive with no acidic challenge. Outcome: observation of morphological characteristics and chemical analysis of ABRZ produced with 10-MDP containing adhesives. |
