Abstract This study was initiated during 2013 & 2014 seasons, on Thompson seedless grapevines grown in Seds Agricultural Research Station, located at Seds village, Beny Suef Governorate where the soil texture is clay. Vines were spaced at 2 x 2 meters apart uniform in vigor, head pruned and15 years old. Winter pruning was conducted at the first week of January to leave 72 eyes per vine (ten long fruiting spurs x 6 eyes + six replacement spurs x two eyes). Surface irrigation system was followed using Nile water. All horticultural practices except N fertilization with all sources were carried out as usual The goal of this investigation was elucidating the impact of inorganic N fertilization at various proportions as well as application of EM and fulvic acid on growth and fruiting of Thompson seedless grapevines. selecting the best inorganic N proportion added with EM and fulvic acid for maximizing the yield and improving quality of the berries. |
