Abstract Infectious bronchitis Virus is one of the most important disease of chicken It exists in most parts of the world . causes major economic losses not only because of poor performance or decreased egg production and quality, but also because of secondary infections bacterial airsacculitis, pericarditis, and perihepatitis. 20 commercial broiler flocks of various ages (20-35 days) raised in different parts in Kafrelsheikh governorate and suffering from respiratory symptoms and pathological changes in kidney associated with high mortality rate.. Tissue samples (trachea, lung and kidney) were collected aseptically from these flocks. and examined by RT-PCR and then three selected IBV positive samples according to real time PCR results. These three samples inoculated into allantoic cavity of 9-11 old ECE, dwarfing ,curling and stunting growth observed on them. sequence analysis The three IBV field isolates showed 94% to 95% and 93% to 95% and 95% nucleotide sequence identity to IBV-CU-2-SP1 and Eg/12120s/2012 . respectively.Phylogenetic tree are made for comparison between Egyptian and reference and vaccinal strains. |
