Abstract
This thesis is devoted to study the interaction of dimeric Zn (II) chelates of the type Zn, (Da2SMe), and Zn, (Phg2SMe).(Da2SMe and Phg2SMe refer respectively to diacetyl and phenyl-
glyoxal Shiff bases derived from S-methylhydrazinecarbodi-
thioate) with heterocyclic bases (e.g. pyridine, Py, 2-methyl-
pyridine, 2-MePy, $-methyl pyridine, 3-MePy, and 4-methylpyridine, 4-MePy) and secondary cycloaliphatic amines (e.g. piperidine, HPip, and morpholine, HMorph).
